Well fiddle stix,, my trailers are feeling like abandoned orphanes...
Rained most of the day... I envy my friends who are packing up and getting ready to head out for camping in warmer States..

Yay, Grace for good weather to go out and visit your trailers!! I know they were happy to see you too!! It sounds like you already have a project to work on inside one of them as well. Post us a photo if you do make some changes.

Took advantage of todays nice weather and went out to the Trailer barn to check on my 2 trailers..
Opened up the windows, plugged in the electricity to check everything out.
Now I am thinking about re-upholstering the banquette cushions.. Hmmm!!!!
It was nice puttering in them...
Also have to re-stock the humidifiers tubs too! Thank goodness for them.. these lil old vintage trailers are prone to wood rot so it's important to keep them dry inside.

I agree with you Grace. I am so ready to get out into some nice weather already. It's been such a big and long winter. We have some pretty sunshine today. Almost looked like spring weather, until I stepped outside lol! It will be here for us soon!

Hey Winnie, I know a lot of gals who use those propane room heaters,, but, it just makes me nervous...
I could run heavy duty extension cord out to the trailer barn, but it would be my luck a deer would nibble on it! aack!

Right now it's still uber muddy out to the barn so, I will wait a few more weeks,, then I can open up the barn, and kick back and chillax in either one of my trailers...

Hey Grace, I like that idea of a Staycation at some point in the future! If I had a glamper, I would be doing that a lot because it looks like such a perfect place to fill with just your favorite things and handgout for some mental R&R! Maybe you should get one of these little portable gas heaters for stubborn cold weather that you are having right now. My daughter had to get one this January when their heater went out and she had newborn baby goats to keep warm. She said it really worked like a charm and was easy to get and just uses a refillable tank . It is small and light weight and very portable. Check it out as it might just be the answer to you dilemma.

Unfortunately I have no electricity access to the small barn where the "girls' have slumbered for the winter... otherwise, I for sure would set up a heater, my mp3 player, a stack of magazines and my kitty for a staycation.... oh and a stash of chocolates... heeheehee!

Nothin' says Glamping like a Martini! lol!!!

Grace, I’ll come up and we can have a sleep over! :)

Karen :)

To quote one of my past preschoolers “Not one of those Karens, but a good Karen”! Haha

HA! Our little gal is still covered up snug for winter. I don't think we'll get out anywhere before May here. Warmer temps are definately on my want list as well, Grace. Perhaps spend a night out there, play some cards, snuggle, read a book for your own little staycation! XO

It's raining like there is no tomorrow here today . . . and my work at moving things out of the Reiver's Rest is on hold. I'm glad I'm not trying to get ready to go somewhere in it today.
Hope you get out soon!

Michele,, on our trail cams, we are seeing more coyotes and foxes hanging out by our house,,, they too are so over the snow..
We are seeing them out more frequent, even in the day time, in search of food... it's been a long winter for them...

Uugh! 8 more inches,, I had no idea Wisconsin had that long of winters...
Stay warm...
