Hi Farmgirls!
We have not been able to camp in “GIdget” this year, but we do sit in it in the yard frequently. However, we have not been in it since MAY because we have had so many HOT HUMID days! We broke records in CT, with more days over 90 than ever before! And the humidity has been treacherous! I peeked in the camper one day and it was over 101.
Anyway, for three years plus I have had no isses (Gidget is a 1966 Nomad). Then, this year with the humidity all the decor fell off the walls. The heat and humid weather melted the 3M tape. I tried different brands (gorilla tape) etc. I do not want to put in nails. Have you found anything to hang stuff with that can survive the hot, humid weather?
One fixture I actually tried hot glue! 
Would love your suggestions. We have a fan, open windows, etc. but in that extreme summmer weather we have had I can’t be out there.

We used to use Damp Rid for our trailers. Problem was that I would have to keep refilling. We now use this product: https://www.eva-dry.com/product/e-333-renewable-dehumidifier/ They work so well. I just bring them inside and recharge them and they go right back in the trailer. Probably every 2-3 weeks we have to recharge. It might help with your humidity problem. I've never had any issues with my command hooks coming off the wall.

Hey Nicole,, I leave the ceiling vent cracked open about an inch..to let air in.. I also use those 'tubes' with the beads for hummid wicking... I get them at the Dollar store,, but you can find them in Walmart as well...
In my Scotty, 15'... I use 1 and place it in the center of my trailer,, but in the Aristocrat which is 16' and wider I use 2 . one at each end of the trailer.
I have also in the past, when my trailer has been in storage,, placed a plastic type shoe box filled with kat litter and E.O.,,, to help wick/control the moisture..

Hi Denise,
Yes, that is what we have been using too, 3M, and the other brands. It has been so hot and humid, things literally slid off! I guess maybe now our summer is pretty much over (though Friday is supposed to be hot again). I used a little hot glue on one thing, better than nails! Anyone have any other ideas? Usually the command strips or 3m, gorilla tape, they all work great, but the humid and ultra hot weather made them melt. My wreath hangers on my doors at home also melted off, as did some of the tin signs hanging in my home kitchen! It was like we were living in a sauna! We have a/ci in the house, not central though.
Any luck with a particular brand? I do not want to drill holes in the camper if possible.

I use Command Strips on everything now. After we painted our rooms I quit using nails. I don't know how it holds up in the heat though.
