I sold the Silver Streak today... so now it's Scotty who is always ready for a road trip, and Cubby, our restoration project trailer. Actually, it fells good to let go and just focus on my 2 rather than spending tons on money on the other that just are not getting used. katmom	Posted - Mar 07 2016 : 08:56:53 AM Well in the decision to down size,,, hubby and I decided that 4 vtg trailers are 2 - to many.. so we sold the Shasta,,, and are now going to sell the Silver Streak... But I will keep (for ever) my Serro Scotty and I will hang on to out 1949 Viking Cub Cruiser for now... It was a sad but happy day yesterday... sad, because I sold 'Sassy' Shasta,,, but happy for the new owners, a husband and wife who are smitten with vintage trailers,,, went to shows,,, found the one they like,,, did their home work, and joined the Shasta SCS facebook site,,, so when mine came available,,, they were on the phone in a nan-second.... Sassy will go to a new home where she will get a face lift and then be shown off at rallies... and for that,,, I am happy... ceejay48	Posted - Mar 04 2016 : 3:09:49 PM It certainly is! Just this afternoon I was out removing an upright rod from where the propane tanks would go to get it out of the way. Hubby and I were talking about a waterproof toolbox that I could permanently attach there to carry tools, etc. in. Sooooo, hopefully we'll see some progress on that, but at least that obnoxious rod is gone! Took some farmgirl muscle to get it off too, I tell ya'!
