Anyone else going Glamping in December besides me???
I will be hitchin' up the Silver Streak, "Tin Cup"... and towing it up to Mariposa, CA.,,, and Glamping with about 20 other crazy gal pals...
Our theme is a 'Cowgirl Christmas'... and yep, I have been digging through my Christmas deco stuff, not to mention hitting the Thrifts and Dollar type stores for cheesy Holiday decorations...
I can hardly wait,,, we will be camping at the Mariposa Fairgrounds,,, and if we get rain/snow they will park us under/inside the Live Stock arena... to keep the snow and rain off us.
I can hardly wait to get one last weekend of camping in.

(had to switch out to my Serro Scotty... my truck was having issues...)

Ok,,, I am back..

We had a wonderful time Winter Glamping in the Mountains, in Mariposa, CA.
We camped at the Faire grounds,,, which was perfect as they were having a Christmas craft faire...
Fabulous trailers, fabulous friends, Fabulous food and Fabulous Fun..
here are just a few photos to let you see what we did.
the first 3 pics are of my trailer...

the farm themed trailer belonged to Claire,, an avid quilter and Maryjane farm follower,,, yep she had her MJF mags with her.

the 1940's Tear Drop trailer belongs to Barbara and her 4-legged companion, Charlie,, a corgi/terrier mix.

dinner the last night,,, we were pretty much pooped from shopping... or were we all thinking, how are we gonna explain to our hubbies how much we spent shopping! lol!

at lunch at the "Golden Coin Bar-n-Grill... that's me standing,(red vest).

let the fun begin! (me in blue shirt, red scarf and Brown antlers)...

Mariposa is part of the 1840's Gold Rush trail... we shopped in the little town, and we had a great time...
This year's theme was 'Cowgirl Christmas" ... next year we will do a Aloha Christmas theme,,, I can hardly wait!

I wish we still had ours too. But don't have a vehicle that will pull it now. The Honda Fit doesn't do the job.

Oh you girls, what fun you have. Our little Trillium used to sit outside all winter. We tried winter camping just once. The trailer was warm but the walls were not insulated. That didn't work out well at all. Now we don't have a trailer any more but you make me wish I still did. Have Fun!

Well, we don't have a barn or any place to store the "Reiver's Rest" . . . but I'm not wrapping her up cuz I want to be able to go out and spend some time there. She is plugged into electricity and I have a little heater I can plug in . . . sit and be warm, cozy and do whatever. Perhaps read, color in my coloring book, take a nap or whatever. And, dear little Bramble, hangs out with me!

Oh Cj,,, I so miss our barn back in WA.,,, I parked the trailers inside during the Winter... and could go out and putter in them with out feeling like I just walked into a Freezer... Here,, we haven't built a barn yet so we have had to wrap the trailers up,, and the darn wind has made keeping them wrapped difficult! uuggh!

Brrrrrr . . . I'm not glamping in December, except to go sit in the "Reiver's Rest" out in the yard with the heater plugged in.
It is certainly not glamping weather here any longer.
However, I know you will have a ton of fun and I look forward to hearing/seeing all about it!

Grace. Please post pictures of tin cup when it's decorated. Some of us would freeze our you know what's if we camped here in the winter. But I love to camp. Wish I was closer.

Grace, I'm not a camper but I so like to hear all about it. Hope you find some sleigh-bells ~ I mean camper-bells ~ for your 'Tin Cup'. That's the cutest name.
