Today a fellow sisterette (sister on the fly) stopped by and gifted me a train case and a 'over nighter' case,,, both of which came from her father's home...
I don't have any plans to re-purpose either of these,,, tho' I think I would like to start collecting those cute little souviener tourist location tags,,, the kind you stick onto your luggage or trailer or what ever to let people see where you have traveled and what tourist spots you have visited...
As for the train case,,, I have gotten to where I like pre-packing them with crafting projects,,, a crocheting one, one for penny/wool projects, one for a couple of cross stitch kits... etc... then I can just grab on and toss it into my trailer when I head out Glamping...
I already have 3 that are trailer specific, that are filled with toiletries... just grab and go! luv it!

I just did a count of how many I have,,, some decorated and some as is...
4 decorated ones...
4 undone,,,
and then I found 2 more I had stashed out in the garage... I probably was hiding them from my hubby no doubt! lol!
He rolls his eyes every time I spot one,,, and then proceeds to remind me I don't need another one! lol!
Silly man....

Cool gift. We had some just like it but gave them to a homeless shelter.

I sat them (opened) outside all afternoon,,, washed them up,,, sun sanitized and tonight I will add a handful of lavender buds, close them up for a few days... and then they will be ready to use.
I always keep lavender in my case, whether they are being used or not.. they tend to get a wee bit musty,,, I just cut out a circle of fabric, fill the center with lavender,,, gather and tie it closed and voila! quickie lav sachet....
