Posted - Jul 01 2015 : 04:51:13 AM I'm a wannabe glamper, and always seem to be seeing great little glamping stuff online and at stores. Here's my latest find:
Question -- Can sleeping out on my screen porch be my beginner glamping activity while I continue to dream of a sweet little mobile glamping home?

Posted - Jul 05 2015 : 3:28:05 PM Ok, I'm going for it next weekend. I actually went camping in a tent year ago with almost-second-husband, but I was pretty nervous. Looking back, maybe it was the human company, not the wilderness! Hee hee!
Hey Alicia, come on over any time! :)

Posted - Jul 05 2015 : 2:55:25 PM luv the color book... and yes,,, anytime you sleep outside, porch, tent glamper or even right under the stars (the Starlight Hotel as I like to call it)... it makes you a bonifide Glamperette! so just do it and snuggle in and have fun.... hmmm, coloring by lantern light, while snuggled in your slumber gear on the porch,,, how fun is that! :>)

Posted - Jul 01 2015 : 2:02:05 PM Amy, I love your Glamping coloring book!! It seems like sleeping out on your porch would count for beginner activity. You can fix up a bed, maybe make a small fire to cook on, use a lantern. Just ask the Home Office by writing to Brian Ogle and see what the team there thinks of your idea. If I had a screen porch, I would love to sleep on it like camping out. Alas, no screen porch here and gazillions of mosquitoes right outside my back door@@! sigh. If you camp out on your porch, take some photos of how you fixed it all up!
