We got a bit of a break in the weather today... 70degrees! Whoot Whoot...
So I went out to my trailers, flung open the doors,,, puttered and dreamt of summer glamping days...

and then a moment of silliness struck! lol!

The really funny part,,, I went outside to sit in the sunshine while making a call... I left the trailer door open in my trailer, and when I looked up I saw one of my little kitties coming out of the trailer.. when it dawned on me,,, Yikes! I have a box of kitty litter on the floor in my trailer (for moisture absorption) I dashed over to my trailer... whew! false alarm! the litter box was clean... lol!

* I leave a plastic shoe box filled with cat litter to wick up moisture inside my trailer when it is closed up for the Winter,,, much cheaper then buying monthly moisture wickers w/charcoal...

It was great sleeping between sheets while camping. Next time I will take my daughter and spend a weekend with just her and I. I am going to spend the next few weekends scouting out the perfect spot for a little R & R.

CJ - Hope you have a great time with your daughter.

Sherilynn: You really glamped up your tent, it looks positively inviting. Camping is fun.
Ceejay: Have fun with your daughter next weekend. We have a freeze warning for tonight. So much for spring in Minnesota. It's supposed to be 70 by the weekend.

Went Glamping this weekend. My first time ever as the only one in my tent. I had so much fun and came home so unbelievably relaxed.

I need to do this more often.

Daizy, we have off and on sunshine today... I opened up all 3 trailers and tempted as I am to play outside... I have a very messy sewing room I need to attend to... Soon, it will be perfect Glamping weather and then I won't care what my sewing room or house for that matter looks like... I will be out in my trailer! :>)

Yes, Gracie . . . you can get the Senior Pass at age 62. It costs $10. and is good for life. The gal at MVNP told me it has a "100 year warranty"! . Camping fees at federal campgrounds are 1/2 price, etc., etc.

Hi ladies... how I wish I were back in CA now that we are buried in snow.
Grace, the Senior Pass is free, just show your ID at the gate, and is good at all the National Parks for life! No more paying cash at the entrance to a park, no matter how many young people are in your vehicle.

So, Gracie . . what/where is your favorite glamping spot??!!

Yesterday I went to the Visitor Center at Mesa Verde National Park (in my part of the world) and got my Golden Age Senior Pass so that I'm ready for any camping in campgrounds where I can use it for half price. I already have one place in mind not too far from here along the Dolores River. :D

Thanx Nini. It was pink & blues,,, sort of shabby chic... but I grew tired and decided to kick it up a notch and went for the B/W Toile look... who knows next year I may change it out again, that is the fun thing about our little 'playhouses on wheels'... it doesn't cost an arm & a leg to re-decorate!

My goodness... We woke up to -18 wind chill! I'm glad winter's here, but I sure would like to go glamping... Maybe I can just settle for glamping in my living room and putting up posters of nature all around me, cuz you sure won't catch me glamping in the snow!!! ;)

Grace - My, what big EYES you have!!! I had to laugh - I would've been running to the camper, too! And I just love the black and white theme in your glamper!

Hugs -

We got lucky and had another warm day today, just not as sunny... but I was running errands down the mountain, wearing 3/4 length sleeved pullover, jeans and flats... it was really nice!
But I thing we are going back down to the mid-60's here starting tomorrow.. bummer, I was getting use to this nice weather.. I certainly couldn't wear these clothing in Spokane, WA. this time of year... in fact I have to pack Winter clothes to take when I fly back to Spokane next week.

I am so green with envy. We don't have a camper any more but I have a bird house one and of course a little coin purse one too. Have fun you two . It is-40 degrees here. We actually drove into a nearby campground and there had been campers last night. Brrrrrr

We've had a break in the bitter cold as well! I went to Arizona last week to get a break fro the cold, but that storm came through Arizona, making it colder than usual . . . not the break I was hoping for. Come home and, finally, some warmer temps. We've actually shut our pellet stove down for a little bit this afternoon. We have great south windows which help keep our house cozy.

I'm fixing to take the Christmas decorations off my trailer and start thinking about what's left to do!
Enjoy your warmer weather!
