Ok girls. A friend and I are going on the NE Junk Jaunt next month. We will be camping in a popup camper with no potty. We will have access to a restroom,I am interested in knowing if any of you have used the double doodie bags. I guess I kinda get the idea, but how do you dispose of them? Does the gell make them safe to just toss? I'm thinking of emergency or nighttime use. Might be better than midnight runs to the restrooms.

and,,, a roll of 'designer' Duct Tape ... wrap it around the bucket & voila' cute potty bucket!
Some of my friends have sewn fabric 'covers' to hide the potty bucket, making it look like a little ottoman...
just tossing out some more ideas....

Susan,
Grace's suggestions are what is very popular with glampers . . . including me and my daughter. You can get a toilet seat that attaches to the top of the 5 gal. bucket for not a lot of expense. It's pretty easy!
Have fun!

Susan,
Use a 5gal bucket, a regular 'doodie bag' (w/o the gel) and you can use either a cup or 2 of kitty litter, or wood pellets (like for pellet stove) or buy a pkg of Depends, I cut them in 1/2 and lay in the baggie, w/absorbent side up... then just tie the bag closed when done... If the only thing available, is a 'out house' open the bag, empty the stuff, then wrap up the empty bag and then I toss the empty bag in the trash can,,, not in the outhouse.
Check with the camp host to see what they prefer you to do.
