Posted - Jun 12 2014 : 4:40:31 PM That's AWESOME, Grace! Those are the ones I used to use the most!!! I don't think we have a Hobby Lobby here...I've never seen one, anyway. I'll have to see if I can just order from them! THANK YOU!!! I'll have to see if I can find pics of some of the ones I've made in the past... I tried to copy all my pics from my old computer, but there is one disk that I can't open to save my life. If I can find anything, I'll post them so you can see! :)
I would definitely paper piece quilts to the "barn" lunchbox... I love working with paper... I'm pretty paint-challenged, too! LOL!
Thanks again - SO much!
Hugs,

Posted - Jun 12 2014 : 12:17:06 PM Nini, here is what I found on the Hobby Lobby web store... they have a white square on, but not the dome style.. they do have a circular one in white.
![](http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/Snitz/Images/2014/06/lunch pail.jpg) it's 7x4 and $6.99

Posted - Jun 12 2014 : 11:53:33 AM OMGeepers! what a really KOOOOL idea that would be! They could be done all faux painted unless you are "faux paint challenged" like me'lol! in which case I could decopauge the itty bitty quilts onto the 'Barn'... I could make them out of paper or upload an image of a quilt... hmmm, I wonder if 'Hobby Lobby' website store sells these boxes?

Posted - Jun 12 2014 : 07:48:03 AM Oh! GRACE! Did you see the domed lunchboxes? Wouldn't they be cute decorated up as barns? With quilts adorning the sides, perhaps? ;)

Posted - Jun 12 2014 : 07:46:22 AM Thanks SO much for the link, Grace! Yes, it IS a bit expensive, but I know in the past I've paid even more than that for them. I just try to think of it as part of the cost of the gift. If I bought one all decorated up, it'd be ridiculously expensive and not nearly as nice as one that's homemade and personalized for the recipient, you know? :) I'm really excited about this! Thanks so, so much for finding them! This would actually be a fun swap project, hmmmmm???? Hugs - Nini

Posted - Jun 11 2014 : 10:33:31 PM Nini, don't laugh,,, I found it at a yard sale, yep, and there was no label or makers mark... Like you, I'd love to make some gifts,,, but all I can find are the little ones at the craft stores... If I do find a resource, I will let you know,,, :>)

Posted - Jun 11 2014 : 2:25:28 PM LOL! Oh, Grace... You're too funny! I love your lunchbox! I actually have made quite a few altered lunchboxes for myself and as gifts... My favorite was a personalized one I made for my little cousin's second birthday. Her Mom went crazy over it and uses it to store her little keepsakes. Such a neat thing! Where on earth did you find your lunchbox, though? I haven't seen any in craft stores in a few years! I'd love to start making them again! Hugs - Nini
