I'm so excited! It's our third camper; we had a 1974-ish huge 5th wheel when the kids were small, and we have a 1998 24 foot camper that is nice, but I wanted a camper for ME. . So now, we are a two camper family. What it amounts to, is I wanted a playhouse. Lol.

She is a 1968 Forrester 17' and she has a few hail dents and the bathroom needs a new toilet seat and some of the paneling in the bathroom, is gone, and they just have plywood, so I will need to put up a lil bit of paneling, or else wallpaper. The rest of the paneling looks great though. She looks not so bad considering she is older than me. The best thing has to be the robin's egg blue stove and vent fan.

I attached a link, I couldn't get a photo attached for some reason.

I am going to park her right beside the driveway, on a nice thick layer of white rock, and I'm buying a pink flamingo to stick in the ground next to her (her name is Clarabelle Cow, by the way). I will definitely paint some cows on her, but I'm undecided whether I will go with a pastel, shabby chic theme....a barn wood theme, or a neon yellow and pink and green theme.

Regardless, I'm happy as a clam, even though I'm sick.

I know how you feel. I have a 1984 13ft Scamp with hippie stickers on it. we bought it in March and I've been fixing her up with inside paint and new cushions. Since Mountain Linny is my nick name, I'm thinking of painting black bears and forest on the outside. It's my playhouse where I can go listen to music or write in my journals. Every gal should have one. Soon as it cools off , I'm inviting the girls over for a fire and cookout. , glamping style.

That is so exciting Michelle. Love her name and you are going to have so much fun traveling around with her. I hope you will start to feel better and would love to see a picture sometime.
