Well, the other gals have said it all, Jo, but I had to pipe in anyway! I can just feel a moose (or grizzly?) in the midst. Would you consider stopping by the Outpost forum & posting this amazing pic there as well? I think it would inspire others to share their photos too.
Thanks!!
Jen

Katelyn, the back door is open for ya....... we're putting up an outpost in our moose meadow. The snow is melting and we're expecting our once again spring moose calf. Tell him summer is twice as much summer cuz of the daylight. hugs to you in utah! jo

Jo, you sound like such a fun gal.. I was born and raised in Eagle River, AK... not too remote but I am a nature girl at heart and so as you can imagine I have spent my fair share of time in the mountains and valleys of Alaska... I am always happy to see photos of home and remember its beauty. if only I could convince my husband that he'd get used to the winters... maybe someday!

Jo, that beautiful picture of your blueberry picking spot is so calming to me. Would you mind if I used it for wallpaper on my computer?

Jo, absolutely gorgeous - I have always wanted to visit Alaska. I think you must be a mountain girl like me - I am currently living somewhere where there are no mountains and I miss them terribly. Just beautiful!
Best wishes,

That is just breathtaking. I've never really been anywhere like that before - and it sure is a treasure to see.

Beautiful. A friend is visiting from Anchorage. Dave brought pictures from his remote cabin, can't remember the lake's name. He had winter and summer picture. It was beautiful. Now the husband wants to visit next summer. Maybe we'll have a chance to meet up.

Great Pic! I checked out your website and you havesome beaautiful pics there too. My Richie and I visited Alaska about 3 years ago in March. We took the train trough Denali and went to the Ice Sculpture Championship in Fairbanks and to the North Pole. We loved it! SANTA was great! He was THE REAL DEAL!!!!! I have a pic of me sitting on his lap in my classroom and the kids all LOVE to hear the story about the time I got to go to the North Pole and meet the REAL SANTA! Thanks for sharing with us!
