Posted - May 19 2013 : 2:41:22 PM We did look at older glampers....but they needed spool much work. Hubby works very hard during the week. We really needed something we could hitch and go. I wanted it to be fun and relaxing. Not work and stress.
I have lots of quilts left from my store. Since most of it is blue....I'm going to stick with blue and just add pretty quilts and country style accessories.
It is going to be tons of fun. Katie and I cleaned like crazy today. She is the best daughter ever.

Posted - May 19 2013 : 1:36:30 PM Arttie, that is so good looking, and I agree with Shellee, enjoy! My hubby and I for our 45th wedding anniversary bought a new one, a Aljo, it is only 19' long, but it is perfect for us. He said I could do anything to it, to make it like I want. We went and looked at a few used small campers to make into a glamper, but things were so bad. Just never found one we were comfortable with. So we decided to go this route, he was worried I would be disappointed, but I am not. I am working on a theme, and gathering things up. Here where I live I think there is not a lot of glampers. I am a member of the Fancy Feather Farmgirls, and my daughter and I won the best decorated tent last October for our annual campout. I am excited this year we will have a camper, my daughter who is a farmgirl also, had a lung removed due to cancer, and she stays in the tent also, but then suffers for over a week when the campout is over with. Just to much night air. and dampness. My hubby and I went camping on our property the first weekend we had it, we took the dog with us and left technology at home. We had a blast. I hope that you will enjoy yours also. Are you working on a theme? I have one in mind but still thinking of others also. Gonna leave outside a lone for now hubby says to do what I want. Well, thanks for listening oops reading. Post more as you work on yours. I need to learn to post pictures. Have fun! Farmgirl #946 Linda |
