Posted - Apr 16 2013 : 4:03:07 PM I haven't been to Hugo but I've been through Oklahoma quite a few times---seems the nearest attraction would be Dallas, about one hundred miles from Hugo. I don't know what route you plan to take. but between McAlester and Muskogee is Oklahoma "lake country" which to me is the best part of the state. The rest of it seems dry, few trees, and lots of rattlesnakes and armadillos. But then I come from Illinois, by a major river. I like greenery and large bodies of water. Cindy
