My first post, and it's a request for help.

My 12 year old nephew and his hunting buddy, the husband of my sister's life-long best friend, we're just drawn for a whitetail hunt in the Palouse area for this weekend. They're not familiar with the area, they have no idea where to go. I don't know anything about hunting but have the assumption that many hunters might be territorial, or secretive about their good spots. I'm hoping that I'm wrong! I, like everyone, hope that my nephew has a super fun time most importantly, but also a successful hunt. These are two great guys on a great adventure! I'm hoping one of you might be able to offer them some advice. They've been asking friends and family, but with no success, I thought I'd ask the Farmgirls for help. They're leaving from the Naches/Yakima area this afternoon, Friday November 9th. Thank you in advance for even considering it!

Breezy

Usually any farmer or rancher will allow you to hunt after asking.

If they were closer I have a buck that needs to go into a freezer.

You might have them check the forest service lands and call the forest service department. They should be able to give you some good tips
