We made a visit to the campground yesterday. Not one person camping, and the weather was/is so wonderful right now. Say a prayer that the weather holds out for next weekend too. I may get the chance to fall camp.....

Hubby had to work today, and guess who wished we were camping? My 10 yo dd. She loves the cooler weather as much as I do. She loves making hot cocoa on the campfire as much as I love to cook over it too.

I just might bring my lunch out there... one of the perks about the trailers being in the Man Cave is I am plugged into electricity... :>)
hummm maybe I'll put on a pot of tea too! I know I have some cookies stashed somewhere... if not,, I know where the Halloweenie candy stash is & I am not afraid to eat it !lololol!

Our ManCave is a 30 x 50 metal barn with heat... :>)
we could all come glamp in there... park our trailers and cutsiefied tents... set up faux palm trees, a mini pool, spread some sand or kitty litter around the pool, don our sunglasses & spandex pants,,,and sip on a Martini or 3.... heeheehee,,, hows that for silly?

Oh, Gracie . . . I'd love to join you. I think we could probably come up with some very appropriate silliness!

The weather is great, but hubby's work hours are not. He told me to hold out for the weekend, and we just may get the chance. This time, it will be by ourselves (if we do get the chance).

Gracie,
You funny farmgirl! I should have kept one of the ones I wore back in the day. Someday I'm gonna find myself one . . . I suppose I'll need one if I ever am glamping with you and your gang, huh?
It's cute!

Oh lucky you, to still have nice weather...
I tucked my trailers away for the season,,, it has been off & on raining and today we are having wind gusts 25-40mph, depending on where you live out here on the wast plains!
But, to lessen my saddness of not being able to camp/glamp.. I bought another petticoat for next years glamping season...

Love Gov Dodge. wish we could get out, but DH is still recuperating from his stroke. Sigh we are taking it day by day.

Kristi,
I hope you can do it . . . I know you NEED it! If weather is good enough then go for it!
It's too cold here now, especially if you want to go into the mountains. And, hunting seasons are starting. We have too many crazy hunters.
I'll be praying you can make it happen!

DH and I just got back from fall camping at Governor Dodge State Park in Dodgeville, WI. Most days were beautiful fall weather and colors. One day was raining. It felt so good to un-plug and just be.
