Vanessa,
I can't wait to meet you in MN and see your Airstream. I will be bringing my little teardrop to our glamping adventure!

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

I can't wait to see pictures of the Airstream. It'll be a work of love. Keep us posted.

Grace,

It is a 25 foot Land Yacht Travel Trailer Trade Wind. I am going to take it to the Farmgirl Campout in MN in Sept. It has avacado counters in good shape. I think that I will go with a Tuscany rust/brown/green striped awnings, maybe a funky warm brown for upholstery with touches of cheetah. But I also have this great orange/70s retro print. I can't get more of that, though. Right now, it is a pleasing white with purple and green accents. The last gal was an accomplished seamstress, but it's not the style that I want. It is "sweet" but the green and purple are just too, ...yeah, "sweet". The cabinets are in great shape. Currently there is white/purple/green checked vinyl tile. Eventually, would like that to be bamboo or laminate.

We do have a family of boys, and I realize that we are really USING this and have to have some ruggedness.

I am not an avid "restorer" I will do a combination of restore and renovate. It is for us, after all.

I can't wait for my new MJ BOOK! Esp. since I know that she also has an Airstream.

I love the upper Midwest!

Cool! What an awesome family project! My parents owned an Airstream when I was a kid....complete with an 8-track tape player! In the summertime we'd live in the trailer while my Dad worked on construction sites in Eastern WA. One summer we were parked in the middle of an orchard with apricot, cherry and apple trees and the old man who owned the land had piglets that he let me play with......I miss those days. Someday when I retire I'd like to own my own "silver bullet."

Cheers! ~ Marilyn

If anyone has any advice...there is a lot on the internet, but, let me know. Like, great places to buy Airstream parts, or whatever. Also, someone said that I should make it an updated 70s look. I forgot who said that and I would like more info on what that means.

It has avocado counter tops.

I love the upper Midwest!

Awesome! We have a newer Airstream and absolutely love it. Several friends have older ones they remodel. Enjoy yours, there is nothing like it!
