I'm gonna have to sneak a tea-cup in the camping tote....dh won't go for taking glass/ceramic dishes camping. Of course, I could sneak in a few plates from a thrift store when he's not looking - ha ha ha ha!

Posted - May 25 2012 : 07:25:13 AM I love the pink luggage, how cute is that. Can't you just see a coed in the early 60's going off the college in her pink convertible with her pink luggage. A copper fondue pot from the 60's is included in my glamping kit. Melted chocolate and banana chunks can't be beat. Little kids of all ages love it.
Greetings from the morning side of the hill. |

Here is the link for those who want to make one.

Posted - May 17 2012 : 1:24:31 PM I made these out of ladies hankies and recycled beads from broken jewelry/hair accessories. These two are going glamping with us. They are Drink/Dish covers. I am adding them to my store also. :)

You may have seen this pic, but it is Robin on our road trip last summer. We both have sunglasses like these for our road trip, glamping excursions. AND, pink silk scarves
Isn't it such fun! CJ

Posted - Apr 06 2012 : 10:50:37 AM I have separate lists in a journal book. One is for EQUIPMENT and I can specialize it for the things that we have and this is the stuff you DON'T want to forget SUPPLIES which is for things like nylon rope, zip ties, tools, etc. Another list is for GLAMPING ACCESSORIES which is for the extras that we would take only on "girl glamping" trips. PERSONAL ITEMS is another list FOOD "For BRAMBLE" . . so I don't forget things we need for her.
I have a vintage picnic basket that has real china and real silverware in it, along with cloth napkins, tea towels, dishcloths, some cooking utensils, etc. And, yes there are china teacups with saucers in there.
I've been "accused" of being a master organizer and that has served me well with all the things I've had to pack for. That includes organized lists that I check off as things are packed. Happy trails farmgirl! CJ
