Posted - Apr 03 2012 : 06:12:50 AM Our state campgrounds have a "Let's Go Camping" theme this month, and are offering discounted rates. However, the weekend we can go, they don't have the site we prefer. I'm going to keep tinkering around their other campground sites.
Any camping this month?

Posted - May 14 2012 : 3:37:23 PM Mohican is great! I've rented a canoe there before.
Our first booked cammping venture will be in NW Ohio in Archbold, Ohio. We like to visit different campgrounds every year. We may take a quick overnight trip this next weekend. Not sure yet.
I would love to rent a Yurt in Ohio. They even have cabins in some areas. I've stayed around Hocking Hills before too. Last year we camped close to home (no swimming, just hiking) and the kids got too bored. We may look around more too.

Posted - Apr 27 2012 : 12:24:51 PM I think someone could really make good money becoming a "goat" sitter or "farm" sitter. It would sure make us happy.

Posted - Apr 25 2012 : 7:12:04 PM Oh how fun! We are going to build a little camp on our property, but since we just moved to Ohio last year, we really want to explore more of it. Maybe we will find someone to milk her if we ever decide to go overnight. :)

Posted - Apr 18 2012 : 06:10:36 AM You know Ginny, you never know. I visit a campsite that has camping with pets on one area, and a reserved area for horse campers.
We too have dairy goats. I'm covering for my dd so she can go camping this year with my brothers. The two older girls are learning to fly fish.

Posted - Apr 11 2012 : 8:32:56 PM Not yet! My son asks me almost every night when it's time to go camping!!! This year we have a dairy goat, so I am thinking we may have to make a campsite on our property. Although, I wonder if they would object to a Pygmy Goat tagging along at the campgrounds. ;)
