Our state campgrounds have a "Let's Go Camping" theme this month, and are offering discounted rates. However, the weekend we can go, they don't have the site we prefer. I'm going to keep tinkering around their other campground sites.

Any camping this month?

Mohican is great! I've rented a canoe there before.

Our first booked cammping venture will be in NW Ohio in Archbold, Ohio. We like to visit different campgrounds every year. We may take a quick overnight trip this next weekend. Not sure yet.

I would love to rent a Yurt in Ohio. They even have cabins in some areas. I've stayed around Hocking Hills before too. Last year we camped close to home (no swimming, just hiking) and the kids got too bored. We may look around more too.

I'm in NE Ohio, where do you go camping, if I may ask, I miss it a lot and was thinking of planning a weekend close with my two daughters in out tent. The last time i took them we went down to the Mohican area cuz it's one of my fav places. wonder if there is anything nice along the lake shore

I think someone could really make good money becoming a "goat" sitter or "farm" sitter. It would sure make us happy.

Oh how fun! We are going to build a little camp on our property, but since we just moved to Ohio last year, we really want to explore more of it. Maybe we will find someone to milk her if we ever decide to go overnight. :)

You know Ginny, you never know. I visit a campsite that has camping with pets on one area, and a reserved area for horse campers.

We too have dairy goats. I'm covering for my dd so she can go camping this year with my brothers. The two older girls are learning to fly fish.

Not yet! My son asks me almost every night when it's time to go camping!!! This year we have a dairy goat, so I am thinking we may have to make a campsite on our property. Although, I wonder if they would object to a Pygmy Goat tagging along at the campgrounds. ;)

Not camping until June 1,2,3. I can hardly wait! Thankfully our camping stuff survived!
