Posted - Feb 24 2012 : 04:11:57 AMBoy it feels good to book a camping trip. The girls are excited too. We will need to borrow the pop-up camper again, but thankfully it's available. It's not until summer, so we plan to take another spring camping trip prior to that.
I have found a few things to add to our camping tote, and hope to find some new cooking equipment to cook over the fire.

Posted - Feb 24 2012 : 07:15:35 AMI'm planning our spring and summer camping trips as well. Our first one will be to Deception Pass State Park on the west side. Miles of beach to explore--can't wait. I just read about a new product to take camping. Hungry Jack makes dehydrated hash browns that come in a small milk carton container. All you do is add the water to the container, let sit a few minutes than fry in a pan. All the reviews give it high marks. People who have tried making hash browns from scratch and always seem to fail rave about these. Just google Hungry Jack hash browns for camping. JoAnn
