I'm making a swing for my special needs daughter who will swing for hours. I want to put that kind of sparkly vinyl that they used in 50's diners on the seat so her pants don't get so wet and stained from wet wood. What do I use to pad the seat a bit? Needs to be non-absorbent and withstand the outdoors under the vinyl. Or is there a better direction I should be heading? Thanks farmgirls!

...how about asking someone at one of those Marine Stores.. they do cushions for boats and such. They may be able to give your recommendations....also check with Camping World?
