Posted - Aug 02 2011 : 08:46:04 AM It took me a while, simply because we get sooo busy during the summer, but I did post photos of our sweet little camper on my blog. It is a '63 minnie Winnebago. It truly was our best garage sale finds ever!
My mom just bought a '67 Commanche camper. I plan on posting photos of her camper soon too. It's smaller than ours and is turquoise and white.
I had to share, because this is where I was originally inspired :)!

Posted - Sep 06 2011 : 4:52:58 PM It's funny how many more people comment on it when we are camping now that it is red and cream verses cotton ball white! It always got looks, now they are just more friendly looks :)! Amazing what paint can do.
Just returned from another fun camping adventure yesterday. Just in time for the kids to get some sleep for their first day back at school. I'm not ready to turn it in for the winter just yet - although it did get down to 35 degrees last night. I'll sleep in it in the driveway if I have to, just to have a few more camping nights in it. Why do fall weekends get so busy?

Posted - Aug 04 2011 : 08:06:18 AM Love your camper! Two campers were sitting in a parking lot here in town for sale. I tried to get my hubby interested but he didn't even want to go look. One is now gone. I guess I have to still live through all you ladies who have campers. *sigh* But someday...I'm gonna wear him down and he'll say yes.

Posted - Aug 03 2011 : 7:46:36 PM Thanks for checking it out. We love it, but it's nice to hear that others think its as cute as I think :)! I'm thankful for a talented husband who enjoys occasional projects. (He might wish that we had a few less projects though).
Deborah, I do have quite a bit of lavender growing, but I can't claim the plants in the photo - I just dream that mine will look like that one day :)!. I'm working on 2 weddings for this weekend, and did order lavender from my wholesaler just to fill in the gaps where mine wasn't enough.
