Posted - May 26 2011 : 06:10:51 AM Hello all...I'm for recommendations for sealing the roof of my little camper...thought it was water tight (so says former owner, did some "leak" tests, etc.) however just went to check on her as we had some heavy rain last night (and I just removed my tarp this week as I was opening her up for the season)...lo and behold we've sprung a leak. I could just cry! Any info you could share would be greatly appreciated. Keep in mind, although I want to do a nice job, this isn't a "restored" camper by any means...and I also have to be able to do this myself, without help if possible. Thanks so much! ~Heather |

Posted - May 27 2011 : 11:19:09 AM hey Heather, check out your local RV stores,,,most carry a product (it's a silver goopy paint)that you can 'paint-on' a temorary fix to help seal.. but depending on where the leak is, you may have to replace the buytlene tape/putty strippng. Again, a good RV place should be able to tell you how as swell as sell the stuff. Besure to put a fan or heater(on low) and let your trailer out for a day...
