Yep, it's Camping season in Germany...
I am amazed at the number of trailers & motorhomes on the road in Germany....It appears that camping is becoming very popular in Germany.

I'm so jeaoulous that you are in Germany Grace! I was an exchange student there in the 1980's. During that time my observation was that Europeans were very interested in camping and the outdoors. All of my host families were very active and went camping, fishing, hiking and skiing on a regular basis. I have always been puzzled as to why Americans think Europeans all stay home and don't get out and about, but maybe it has to do with the fact that many Europeans prefer low-impact tent-camping over driving around with an RV or trailer. The campgrounds I went to were often full to capacity. I wil have to check out your pictures. Do enjoy the rest of your trip!

Cheers! ~ Marilyn

Grace, years ago my aunt and uncle leased their home in Calif. for a year and went to Europe for the Olympics and sightseeing when they were over there. They bought a camper and stayed in it the whole time they were there. And they stayed several months. Traveled all over Europe and had the best time. Then they sold it and came back home.

I have enjoyed your vacation pictures. Thanks for sharing them.

Wow! You never imagine that they camp. It's cool they appreciate the outdoors in that regard!
