Has anyone decorated a newer 2000+ camper or trailer to try and make it look "glamper" worthy?

I have made big pillows out of the tea towel maps that look and work nicely in the dinette area as well. Add's to the cozy road home feel.

Hi guys! I love this question as i am still in mourning a bit from selling my 1966 15ft Aloha trailer friday! Hubby picked up a 27 foot 2004 5th wheel. We do not tow our camper but belong to an association along a salmon river and own a lot there. We spend 2-4 days a week there year round and love it! As it rains here so much this will be more comfortable, specially with the addition of the dog and daughter home from college... and hubby gets a toilet! (lol)

The old trailer was themed in pin up cowgirl and we have carried this into the new trailer and it is working well. I am actually having fun with the small challenges of the modern-ness but it is working! off to read more of your posts. :)

That is adorable, Heather! I could definately see that on someone's glamper window! There are a lot of really fun retro items on that site-thanks for sharing it with all of us! MaggieMB

Look what I found girls, this would probably cover a entire glamper window, and not badly priced!

Angela, it's so much fun to hear about your vintage trailer! I'm sure that I'm not alone in my fascination with the subject. Thanks for sharing your experience with the rest of us! MaggieMB

Angela, I wouldn't of minded the cushions being gone any way, I always seem to want "new" cushions when it comes to something like that, visions of urine, mold and mildew always flow through my mind on things like cushions that I don't know where they have been or what has been done to them! lol (same with mattresses and pillows! lol)

I was lucky to find it at Joann's on the remnant rack. Wonder if anything like that might still be available? I used some to make a tote, and decopaged with some of it, too. Very cute and kitchy!

It is the 16 ft SCS and is in really good condition. It has had some repairs done and the icebox was gone and a kitchen drawer needs replaced but everything else is there..I would of loved to have the original icebox! Well the cushions were gone too but I measured and two futon mattresses will fit perfectly and luckily I have them already! I feel like I am playing with a dollhouse again...even my heart is smiling ;D

Oh I want to go camping! Once Easter is over we will make at least one more trip before we move back into Thimble Creek Farm.

Yeah I once got two fiesta ware mugs at a garage sale for 10 cents each! Really stamped fiesta ware on the bottom, and had the circle handle! (tale tale sign of real fiesta ware)

I have a search party out for the fiesta mugs! I saw some online and they would be perfect. I am patient and know if they are to be mine they will show up at a price i can live with. We were at the camper yesterday ( currently parked at the construction site of our home) and I visualized the things we have talked about. I can see it! I now have a real plan. Thanks for your help!
I love goodwill too. We also have a Restore and it is wonderful too.

Cool Angie, I don't think we have anything like that here.

Connie, lookie what I found, looks perfect for a glamper and goes with the fiesta ware colors (that being said I found fiesta ware mugs once at a garage sale! lol)

LOVE good idea books, had I known it was as good as it was, I would of bought more and gave them as gifts! I bought 2 that day (cause I already had a friend in mind for the other one) and gave one to a friend, and kept one. After I read it I wished I had bought more. Almost every idea it had was good! And ones I hadn't heard before!

Yeah they started that a few years ago Angela that's when I seen a major change in what they had in their actual stores Angela, well actually I noticed it about a year before, then some one brought it to my attention that they were now auctioning off their good stuff, and I was like, wow that's what happened! I couldn't figure out what had happened, I had thought maybe people just weren't donating as much or as good of stuff any more of something. In my opinion it was a bad move for us the customers, and I wasn't too happy with it. I haven't been to any DAV's lately though, but am going to start going soon. (I couldn't find them in NYC but we have them here in Kansas). I'm hoping they actually sell their stuff in their stores still instead of auctions.
