We camped at a state park in Ga this last weekend. The two weekends before we camped in front of our farm house that is under construction. It was in the 40's and 50's at night but 60's-70's in the daytime. Glorious weather. Of course the pollen is in full swing too. ;( But no flies or mosquitoes. Ticks are out but not in full force yet. I only had three. Yuck! If you ever make it to Ga. Cloudland Canyon State Park is beautiful.
Kristina- I love the curtains. My Scottie has boring beige curtains on those cheap brass rods that have brackets to sit in. I really don't like the rods as much as the curtains and they are ugly! Any Glamping girls know of a better method of hanging curtains in your Glamper? I have considered stringing a wire with one of those tightener things to keep it taunt. Or even velcro strips. I don't like how the rod sticks out off the wall. Takes up too much visual space in a small camper. Not to mention the curtains hang two inches away from the wall at the bottom. Lets in lots of light on those early mornings. And the rods tend to pull off the brackets with the slightest touch.
I'd love some input!

The only camping trip I have made for New Year's Eve was in my trailer at Spirit Mountain Casino! ;D

Our high today was 19 degrees and it is supposed to be -8 tonight. Maybe I'll wait for a little warmer weather. but the glistening snow sure is pretty from my window!

We have a few trips planned for April, and I can't wait. Next Christmas, both of our kids will be gone, and we plan to go camping over Crhistmas just to be away from the house.

I was just telling the hubby that it would have been a great weekend to camp. 50 degrees, no mosquitoes.... well there is all this rain we're having.

We're making a list of the spots we want to camp at this summer. Dreaming.....

You know we used to go camping every New Years Eve. It was always hard to find a place that was open this time of year. We did it because my Mother always said what you do on New Years Day will be what you do for the rest of the year. She was right. When we camped New years, we had good camping years. Last two years we didn't do the New Years camp, and we have not been able to do much camping. Hummm, maybe there is still time.
