I finally found a trailer (Trailer Trash got trashed by the wind in July) and I am road ready. Got her home Friday night. Sometime back when I was posting here I read about a gal who brought home a Shasta. I was interested in seeing some pictures of interiors as I need to make some modifications to the bath and find a frig. Mine is 1969, I believe a 1400, if that makes any sense. You can see pics on my blog.
If anyone out there has a Shasta, I would love to talk to them. Thanks.

hey Sandra,
regarding SOTF, they didn't send you a confirmation letter or sister number or anything?
Please contact Teri #48 or Maurrie #1 and let them know...it might be an oversight,,,be sure to check that your check was cashed as well..you can cend them the date & check number to help them track your info...if they processed your check yet somehow failed to send you a sister packet w/number then I am positive they will make good and give you a number and years membership....
let me know how things tun out....
Do you remember when you sent your check? i can re-trace all the memberships from that time forward to see in you are in the membership list.
Sorry about this mishap and hopefully it can aget all straightened out,

Thanks Karen! I'll look into it more around here. Your trailer is so cute! I can't wait to see what you do to it. Take pics and let us know as we might want to have a virtual "trailer-warming" party for you down the road....get it? Down the road! Ha! Ha!

Actually, I have not joined yet. But was told dogs were allowed, so I suppose it depends on the trip. You could always organize your own so those that wanted could bring pets. I have long desired a trailer, before I ever knew about the sisters. My plan was to go out with my pal, Dash. So I will be taking side trips that include my 'baby'. I know that he can't go on all of them, as most of the time he would not be allowed.

Looks like I forgot to say, I named my trailer...Driving Ms. Daisy aka Ms Daisy. My trailer might be driving me....ha!

Oh for criminetly...I thought you gals were talking about Shasta Daisies and I have some seeds....Ha! Ha! It is so fun to get old and confused....yesterday I went to sit on the toilet seat lid to get something out of a cupboard and forgot it was open and that is SUCH a surpise! I laughed till I had tears in my eyes...old age really is another extreme adventure! Ha! Ha!
Have fun on the river....I joined SOTF last year and never heard a thing from anyone...paid my dues and then I finally got an email when the dues were due again....first time I heard from anyone....I probably can't afford it anyway and I have dogs and you can't bring them, and I have no trailer but was going to retrofit my Tahoe....not sure if they even have a group down here in AR. It sounds like so much fun but it also sounds expensive? Maybe you can enlighten me.

Guess what I found..I mean bought for $19 ?
I brand spankin' new mini (dorm) fridge @ Goodwill....way kool! now I have a new and much lighter refridge for my Aljo(when it comes together.)and I found some cool sheets, sort of a Cheeta print to make another, yes another rag rug....but I am still looking for a lime green or aqua sheet to finish up my crazy rag rug.

You are so right about love around the corner!!! Now it's love in the backyard....yes, she's naked and in the backyard! I cleaned her out but looking for pictures of the bath (orginal) setup as this has been modified and I am looking for some ideas. Definately moving that wall back, as I am not sure what huge frig they had in there but one that big is not going back in. I found one that showed a shower on the wall over the toilet.....what!!!! I should post that funny picture!
Believe it or not, I was at the quilt show all day! Just took my TT quilt out to it's new home so I could plan colors!!! There is always tomorrow!

yep Karen, the 1400 means 14' ft....and yep it is a cutie!
And yes, Dash makes your trailer look good!
Gary & I worled on #3 today, made some major headway....& we re-wrapped the ice box with non-formaldehyde insulation....
How was your day out in the Shasta? I know you were out there!!!! : > )
I'll post on 'Sisters on the Fly' to see if anyone has re-created the "wings" for a Shasta...for ya.
Aren't ya glad you went & looked at the trailer? Ya just never know when 'love' is around the corner disquised as a trailer! lol!
