This is fantastic and you can mix up the dry ingredients a home

2 C. old fashioned oats
1 1/2 C. nonfat dry milk
1/2 c. dried Michigan cherries
1/2 c. walnuts, pecans or almonds
1/4 c. Brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Wet ingredients:
4 c. water
1 large apple, grated, including skin
1/2 tsp almond or vanilla extract

Mix and bake in large casserole for 30-40 minutes

We love taking this camping with us. It makes a lot but can be halved and still add the wole apple
