Tomorrow my daughter and I are going to take our first bike ride of the season! I am so excited! I think I am going to try to see how far I can get towards riding all the way to the horse ranch where I board my horse. It's only 7 miles but that might be a lot for me since I am out of shape and there are at least 3 big hills to deal with between here and there. We'll see how far I get! LOL

I went out to ride my bike today and it had a flat! But I was only planning a mile or so.....
Forget buns of steel, I'd rather have buns of cinnamon!

Alee and Channah, it was great, but now my thighs are paying for it:) I can barely walk, but it's getting better. Even though it hurts, it was definitely worth it! I love riding my bike, and the scenery of downtown Milwaukee and the lake front was amazing!

That sounds great Megan! It's about 7 miles to the ranch where I board my horse so if nothing else I am going to start riding there and back on Thursdays and Sundays (my two days off) if I can get it down to it not taking too terribly long then I might start biking there on Saturday mornings too before work.
Our work schedule is changing soon so we will be out at 6:15pm each night soon! An hour and fourty five minutes earlier than previous. I am hoping we can pick up a bike for my husband so we can come home, put something in the oven and then take a bike ride before dinner each night. I think that would be great!

Alee, I hope you get to ride your bike soon! I took a 15 mile bike ride yesterday, from my house to the lake front of Lake Michigan and back.

My husband rode his bike to work yesterday for the first time this spring. It's a great way to get around if you've got a safe route. Good luck Alee! |

Looks like the bike ride is cancelled with a spring snow storm coming in. Darn! Maybe it will be a bike tune up day instead!
