Posted - Mar 31 2010 : 06:53:46 AM I turned forty in June '09 and I set a goal of 40 hikes before I am 41. I have "rules" such as, combining mutliple trails is still only one hike.A hike is in a nature setting, not a stroll through downtown. And last rule, you can only hike the same trail once. Hiking the same trail on two different days doesn't count. Now that the snow has melted and we are getting warmer weather, I am anxious to resume my hikes. Any trail recommendations for Ohio, western Pa or northern WV? I live in the Cleveland/Akron area and want to branch out a bit. I will be hiking in Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest, any other suggestions? I did get in 28 hikes before winter came, so I only have 12 more to reach my goal! |

Posted - Mar 31 2010 : 08:04:06 AM How fun! Are you anywhere near the Great River Gorge Bridge? We drove it 2 years ago (My Momma is from near there). It is so beautiful. Down in the gorge itself is fantastic. I would love to have hiked around more.
