Posted - Mar 30 2010 : 5:52:35 PM I just found out that my husband would love one, so I am asking for advice on purchasing a telescope. His birthday isn't until November but I figured I would do some homework now and save up for a good one.
Can anyone share? It would be most appreciated

Could I ask you what brand it is and where you purchased it?

Posted - Apr 01 2010 : 2:29:32 PM We purchased one from a department store, figured we would try out something relatively inexpensive to start with. We use it all the time! Days, nights, it does not matter. There is always something to look at here in the mountains. Someday we may upgrade, however, this one works really well.
