Grace, I spotted some fabric I thought you'd like from Newark dressmakers supply. Here is the link http://www.newarkdress.com/sc/productsearch.cgi?storeid=*0efcb4090f6e1d0c21

You maybe already have seen this but it made me think of you.

Does it count if my trailer is a horse trailer with semi-living quarters? It doesn't have bathroom capabilities or a fridge, but it has running cold water, two-burner stove, cupboards and heater.

I do a lot of camping with my horses during the summer and use this trailer A LOT. I've even lived in it for work.

aww the poor thing, it is in bad shape though. lots of water damage and gracious it was used as a dumping ground too.:0( but the aqua colored stove if repairable is neat as well.

Hello Grace! I am looking at other trailers, and keeping an eye out for a gently used T@B. Scamps are cute too, but my heart belongs to a teardrop!
My husband works in Camarillo, and I get out that way whenever possible. I can see the top of the red tower at Magic Mountain from my sewing room window. I'd love to live in Ventura County, but Washington must be pretty nice too!

Gracie sure looks like you are going to have fun with your new trailer. Yes the $950.00 per say is cheap but as you said the redoing cost is going to get ya. The price will never come to getting a new one. Hubby and I bought our first trailer last year to start our retirement. Had to get a new truck to pull it. Used truck and new 5th wheel cost us $70,000.00 but we have more then the average person as to what is in the thing. We bought good. An Excel check out their web site and you will see. Excel.com. We start May 13th from home to Seattle to Alaska. Then home to plan our next trip. So have fun and do well. Lilly

hey "T",
T@B is no longer in production? Wowzers & Bummer! we have a RV dealership in the next town over & they have quite a few T@B's on their lot...which explains why the have them all listed with special Sale prices.
Have you thought about a SCAMP or Castis trailer? they are fiberglass & a 12' weighs about 900lbs(dry weight). Real easy to tow w/a 6cyl car.
My 1st trailer was a 12' Scamp 1976 & I luv'd it....but I had the opportunity to buy the Aljo so I sold the scamp.
Oh, & I use to take my daughter to Magic Mnt over there in Valencia/Sagus all the time...we lived in Moorpark and took the back way through Fillmoor to get over to your neck of the woods. I sure miss living out in Ventura CO.

Heading north on vacation last fall, my dh was kind enough to stop so I could oogle some t@b trailers I spied on an RV lot. I fell hopelessly in love with a red teardrop beauty. I instantly imagined myself traveling across the country, going from one craft show to another, cupboards stocked with beads and chocolate! Never mind that my current car probably wouldn't tow it, or that I can't afford it, or anything sensible...I wanted it. I began to scheme. When we returned home, I began my research. I got caught up in life and forgot until yesterday that I never recieved my brochure from the company for t@b trailers, so I went to their website and signed up again for info. Today, I got the very sad news, and I gotta admit, my throat tightened up as I was called by a rep who informed me that t@b is no longer being made, but there is a new line called MPG. It is no where near as desirable to me; it is bigger and lacks the charm of the sweet little teardrop I fell in love with. I guess I'm writing to mourn. I am feeling a bit devastated. On the plus side of all this, we still have our 1990 VW camper, it's just not as cute!
