For all of you Outpost girls. Please say some prayers for our family friend Katie Nolan. She is one of the people lost on Mt. Hood. They set out early friday morning, due to return off the mountain Friday afternoon but did not.

Oregon Live has ran a great article on Katie and her friends.

Thanks.

Rene, I heard this morning that they gave up in the search. I am so sorry. It is hard to give up hope, but I can't imagine that they are alive. This reminds me of those 3 who were lost on Mt Hood last year even after digging ice caves. If they are gone, I can only think that they were lulled to sleep by the cold and now are safe and warm in the loving arms of God.

Thanks guys. We are hoping for a break in the weather today so that rescue workers can hike back in. Another foot of snow on the mountain last night and high winds leaving avalanch conditions. Today is the start of day 5.
