My DH Suprised me with an early Christmas present-a getaway to Nashville and meeting Pioneer Woman! I put the book signing on my blog, and pictures of Nashville will be up soon. It was so awesome!

not to change the subject.. but Kristin mentioned Chatanooga... and I totally agree that everyone needs to try and go to that area.. We had a lot of fun back in May.. Went to Chicamauga for the Civil War...awesome!...went to the Aquarium..loved it! and we were even involved in their first ever or at least long time.. BOMB threat.. scary but false alarm...but the best that even my 10yr old son loved was Franklin Tennessee...Cantron Plantation...it is not too far from Nashville..We are going back again in April/May...

I've been to the aquarium in Pigeon Forge (Or Gatlinburg, I don't remember which) and I spent a weekend in that area. It's quite pretty! I've not had the chance to get to Chattanooga yet though. I want to take some time to really be able to experience Nashville, go to the Grand Ol' Opry and everything-we'll see! But, it really was a blast to meet the Pioneer Woman, as i've been following her blog for a looong time. (Probably 3 years or so)

That is just too funny! I am so glad ya'll got to see her. And your hubby with his cowpoopy boots must have been a big hit with Ree. What a great trip. You should have come on down to Chattanooga to the aquarium here. Then you could have really seen some big fish. It's just 1 1/2 hours from Nashville. And I'm just a few minutes from there.

Kris
