Friday was a day off from work. So, DH and I went on a road trip through NE IA and SE MN looking at trout streams and little burgs we have never been through. We stopped at Schech's Mill. This is something he had noticed on one of his previous drives. Definitely worth the stop!!! "The only water powered mill in Minnesota still operating with original equipment." This was an interactive tour, and we left with about 2 lbs fresh ground corn meal, and enough fresh ground wheat flour for 2 loaves. What fun!

Judith, that sounds like such fun! So glad that y'all got a chance to see new things, have an adventure, and get to enjoy some fruits from your jaunt later!

That sounds like a really neat stop. And bringing home samples, really makes it worth it!!
