Please stop by the website I've included here......

Northern Dynasty is pushing for a gold mine in the headwaters of some of our most pristine wilderness and I mean OUR. Save this for the future of your children, your ability to buy wild alaska salmon and your opportunity to preserve true wilderness.

Please understand that a huge open pit mine in this area would be devastating to the sustainability of the culture and wilderness.

thanks for listening to me!! jo

Oh Jo,
I so hope this is stopped! When we watched the documentary on oil exploration in Alaska, there was a US politician who said there was 'nothing' in Alaska, just snow - does ignorance like that really still exist? Yes, it does, as we are currently going down the nuclear energy path here in Australia.
Your part of the world is so beautiful - how can human greed destroy it so easily and with so little thought for the consequences?
Best of luck,
Jayne
