My happy note is I'm snug and warm as the wind howls outside. Temps in the low 30s with wind advisory, but Aldi is delivering my groceries this morning, so I don't have to get out.

Happy note - the sun is shining, it's a gorgeous winter day in way upstate NY. I am warn and cozy while enjoying a latte, waiting for my porridge to cook. Life is indeed good!

Happy note for today, the grands are off school and have a long weekend which means we get to spend some extra time with them. It is a chilly day and I'm looking forward to a warm cup to start the day.

Happy to be in a warm and cozy home with lots of home cooked dishes in my freezer. It's gorgeous out but brrrrr! A morning with a latte spent catching up with farmgirls is always a good morning! Enjoy your day!

Happy Note here! Even though our camping trip for this weekend has been cancelled due to rain, we're still able to reschedule in a few weeks. This gives us more time to ready our camper and not rush on about it. I know that the Lord has our best in mind. "A man's heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps." Learning this truth this week. Be blessed, sisters!

Happy note--my husband and I may have found a piece of property. This year has been very frustrating. Once we here land will support house, we can go under contract. We want to build from scratch. Plz keep us in your prayers, and good vibes are appreciated

Happy note: hubs is now back permanently from Afghanistan! No more 6 weeks to 6 months at a time being gone!! Now its hit and miss weeks going to NM. I'm happy he's safe and my burden is lifted some to where I don't have to work so hard here!!

Grace, I will keep you and your Mom in my prayers, God's will be done.
My Happy thought for the weekend, June 4th marked the last day of our 2020-2021 school year. As I closed up one chapter, it became clear that this day also marked the first day of the 2021-2022 school year. I did promise me to avoid any more preparations for '21-'22 until Monday, June 7. We will see how that goes. Happy Summer Everyone!

My Happy Note,, it's been a challenging 5 months, but my mom is still with us.. The Lord is blessing us to have mom with us a little longer.

Nancy, we are still waiting for the weather to warm a bit. I woke to frost yet again today. Weatherman says maybe plant things next week. Enjoy your warmth. I will try to wait patiently.
It's May 1st. We celebrate communion in my home church as well as the church where I am currently serving as pastor, the first Sunday of the month. As elder at my home church, I get to provide the loaf to be broken at the communion table. I enjoy getting to make and serve this meal. God is Great.

My happy note is that my garden is kicking into gear! The tomatoes and zucchini that my Granddaughter and I planted are doing well! Her avocado seed tree survived being put outside too soon! We are in plant heaven this year. Looking forward to trying some new ones next year.

It has to be a great sign. We saw about a dozen robbins stoop by our house this morning to check out our feeders. I think they were just passing through. Spring can't be far away right?

My happy note for today is that we are covered in about three inches of snow (would love more but I'll take it) and I saw the Carolina wren at the bird feeder. S/he is kind of elusive. I have two and rarely see them together so it's a real treat to catch a glimpse of even one. It will also be sunny and cold for the next three days - hubby built a beautiful ice rink for me in the backyard and although I mangled my knee, I am hoping to get out there and skate.
