Posted - Nov 22 2015 : 03:33:57 AM I love the idea of the clothespin and apron combination. Here in Arizona the first clothes hung up on be dry by the time you finish pinning the the rest.

Posted - May 06 2015 : 7:01:52 PM So I finally got around to take a picture of my aprons! The first one is a little dirty because I've made it my dedicated gardening apron! But I just love the print of the second one!
And I just had to show you all my girls!

Posted - May 02 2015 : 3:29:18 PM I also have another "Wear it!" to share a picture of - I was in the Denim Cuff swap and was partners with Sara (YellowRose). I had a friend embroider "2015 Farmgirl Jubilee" on the cuffs before I decorated them.
The cuff I made for me in on the top and the one I made for Sara is on the bottom. We can both "Wear it!" for the Jubilee. I've gotten numerous comments on mine when I wear it.

Posted - Apr 27 2015 : 11:39:23 AM Finished my Jubilee Apron and 2 more for new farmgirl friends. Here's a picture of my apron!
And the three alike.
I call my 2015 Farmgirl Jubilee aprons "Cherries Jubilee" aprons, because I used 2 different fabrics with cherries on them. LOL! I will be sending in my fulfillment pictures for all three levels of the Apron Merit Badge, and these aprons fulfill the Beginner Apron Badge. I love to wear my aprons in the kitchen and all over the house.

Posted - Apr 26 2015 : 3:36:46 PM What a cute apron my dear etwin Marilyn Hartman Sullivan! I decided to make myself an apron at the very last minute so I can join the Jubilee fun next weekend with some local farmgirls who recently invited me to join their Backdoor Farmgirls chapter. Since I'm still "staycationing" with my parents I too had to scrounge up the needed supplies to craft my apron last night from my Mom's sewing stash. After I finished it I was looking at my apron and it occurred to me that I had just created something of a 4-generation apron.....one fabric that I picked out back in grade school but had a flaw and never got used for it's original purpose, a calico print fabric and some vintage buttons that had been my grandmother's, some antique lace from my great great grandmother's treasure stash - all sewn together with my mom's sewing machine. Brings back lots of wonderful memories of time spent picking out fabrics and sewing with my mom and grandma as kid.....
Cheers! ~ Marilyn

Posted - Apr 21 2015 : 07:37:24 AM Just to update --- I have been wearing my Jubilee Apron in the garden every time I go out. I love the big pockets for seed packets, gloves, a tissue (of course!), any oddments I find in the soil around the house -- stray nails, bits of glass, all the junk that gets leftover from a remodel. It is a wonderful little apron and very handy. When the Dude sees me putting it on, he knows that it is time to head outside and grab a shovel!

Posted - Apr 11 2015 : 12:14:09 AM CJ, so pleased you liked my apron. It's been 40 years since I last used a sewing machine. Then it was an old Singer. The one I borrowed from my sister had all these gadgets on it. Missed the old machine that just did stop & go.
Linda, thanks for checking out my apron and the sweet words 'I love your apron'.
