The Daytona 500 started yesterday. There's controversy over Kurt Busch's suspension. The heated dialogue between Danica Patrick and Dan Wheldon added drama.
I'm not a huge fan of NASCAR. I keep up with the basics. What I do like is the movie Smokey and the Bandit which is a modern example of the bootlegging that took place during prohibition which is the starting history of stock car racing. My hubby can quote that movie much like people quote the Rocky Horror Picture Show. hee hee
