I have been LOVING the Little League games.

Living in Texas made me certainly want to cheer for the team from Pearland.

I am sooooo impressed with Mo'ne. What an incredible 12 year old girl. The sports channel did a science/physics profile on how she throws and her percentages and ratios of angles are like that of the pro players.

One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt."

@Nini, yes I did see/hear the speech. I've heard it several times now and I think it is one of the best encouragements to those kids.

The GL team from Chicago played a great game. I was impressed with their consistency of skills. Congrats to the Korean team on the overall win.

Did you girls see that coach from Cumberland, RI address his team after their big loss? He was incredible! What a great coach! We need more people like that leading our kids, because truly, every step forward IS a victory!!! Kudos to him and his wonderful team!!! http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/league-coach-moving-speech-team-elimination-article-1.1908818

I havent seen alot of it but like you, very impressed! My dad took a 13 year old team to the little League worldcseries from here, as coach, when I was 18. Very exciting for our town even though tbey lost I the first round. I love baseball!

Inside me there is a skinny girl crying to get out, but I can usually shut her up with cookies.
