Yay Hawks! Sorry bout the Cowboys Marley, they played their hearts out. I have a funny football story I hope you will all enjoy. I grew up in a small rural town where cows and chickens(still) outnumber residents. I love football and when the neighbor boys went off to play peewee I wanted to play to. Finally a friends father talked my mom into letting me. I was an official Bulldog! Mom set one condition, since I had very long hair, I had to keep it tucked under my shoulder pads. Keep in mind, this was 35 yrs ago and girls were supposed to be in the kitchen whipping up a batch of cookies(I love to bake too, so hopefully no offense to anyone). Well, one game my hair got loose on a tackle. It drew some pretty good laughs except for one. The ladies son whom I tackled went ballistic, even as far as to demand that I shouldn't be playing because I wasn't wearing all the mandatory "protective" gear. Geez, her son needed to just run a lil faster

The Hawks and my Ducks had a great weekend. Some Seattle residents are really hoarse today getting that world record. Shoot! We could hear the crowd all the way down here in Kent!!!! :)

It was a great outing for the Seahawks last night! They managed to keep their focus and win after the weather delay (the thunderstorm was sure a doozy!), and the fans set a Guinness world record for the loudest crowd noise. Go Hawks!
