NFL's Super Bowl XLVII will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on February 3, 2013.
Beyonce will be the headliner. She has such a powerful voice.

Hey Diane, I agree with you. The Clydesdale commercial made me cry. The game was so exciting we didn't need a halftime show or commercials if you ask me.

I had to change channels to watch Downton Abbey. When we came back to the game the 49ers had scored 3 times in 11 minutes! I didn't care who won because my beloved Packers weren't in the game. I hated the half-time show. Looked like a strip club act and couldn't understand the lyrics. The Sandy Hook chorus was awesome and a couple of commercials I loved were God Made a Farmer and the Budweiser Clydesdale one. The goat eating Doritos was pretty funny too.
Hey, Lori (Crafter), I bet your pom poms are blue and white! I thought you are a Dallas Cowboys fan!

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

I'm with you, Lisa... It's not about the stars, it's about the "Stars and Stripes!" She didn't tear it up too, too much, though...

The Sandy Hook kids were awesome! God bless them!

Go 49ers!

National Anthem
Please sing our anthem as it was composed & intended to be sung. Ick, Yuck.
But the Sandy Hook kids were adorable & Jennifer Hudson is a a talent beyond compare.

I just tried to go to the grocery store just now (silly me) and I couldn't even get a parking place!!!
Between the Super Bowl partiers and those who got their SS checks and are buying their monthly groceries, that place was a madhouse! I came home. I can shop tomorrow. Whew.

I'll try, Lori, to get that picture of a giant cheese and pom-poms out of my head before the game starts!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd consider wearing the cheesehead, for fun only, but NEVER the poms.
Go Ravens!!!!!!!!!!!
Go 49ers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go, Terri! It really doesn't matter to me who wins. I just love watching football. But my choice to win would be the Ravens.
Catherine, the commercials will be fun to watch. I'll be baking a huge ham. That's it!!!! I refuse to stay in the kitchen on Super Bowl Sunday. Usually I love the kitchen and I love cooking, but not on that day. LOL
Lori, NO, NONE, NOT ANY kind of pom-poms will be shaking at my house! Super big hugs to you.
Enjoy the game.

I have been working on the farm all day....cutting fallen trees into logs, cleaning up debris and other stuff. My body is sooooo tired now. I am going to enjoy just laying on the sofa and watching the game and commercials.

I haven't figured out my exact menu yet. How about y'all?

Good to hear that, Diana. My hubby will just keep talking and talking, and he knows I am NOT listening. LOL. Then he asks, 'What just happen? They made a TD?'
I usually just keep increasing the volume.

Catherine, I kind of agree with your hubby. Often, the neighbors come over to watch the games here at our house. But they know no talking during the game. LOL. Sometimes my hubby starts a long conversation with me during a game, I just give him the eye!!!!!!!!!! LOL. Enjoy the Super Bowl!

My hubby can't decide if he wants to go to a friends house or watch it alone at home. He is serious about his football and does not like having to 'socialize' during the game. He is all about watching it. We've rarely gone to anyone's house nor had anyone here because of it. Everytime we've tried, he ends up being aggravated. So, I just cook tons of good food for him and he is the happiest man in the world for those 3-4 hours.
