Well I have to say that one thing I am really excited about with the winter weather is winter sports. I love skiing and sledding particularly. This year skiing got put on hold (again *sigh*) but we bought Nora her first sled last night and it looks like we should have some prime sledding time this weekend! :) yay!

Alee, I had to check this to be sure you meant sledding. The last few times I've said sledding, people around here assumed I meant snowmobiling! I'm not a snowmobiler and didn't know that folks refer to it as sledding. Alyce, we had a toboggan when I was a kid, I remember it being big and heavy, but lots of fun. Back then, I always wanted a plastic saucer like my friends had.

Oh that sounds like fun! I wish I still had my old toboggan; there are some hills around here that would be perfect.

A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee....

Lela wants to go sledding, but we live in Kansas. Flat flat flat! lol haha

So my dad ties a canoe to the tractor to pull her and the other kids around. lol They think it's great fun. I can't wait for hay rack rides.

That sounds like such fun!!!!!! I have never, ever went sledding. I have tried to ski once. I hope Nora has a great time sledding. Stay warm.
