Posted - Jan 19 2012 : 09:14:26 AM Well I have to say that one thing I am really excited about with the winter weather is winter sports. I love skiing and sledding particularly. This year skiing got put on hold (again *sigh*) but we bought Nora her first sled last night and it looks like we should have some prime sledding time this weekend! :) yay!

I'm not a snowmobiler and didn't know that folks refer to it as sledding. Alyce, we had a toboggan when I was a kid, I remember it being big and heavy, but lots of fun. Back then, I always wanted a plastic saucer like my friends had. |

Posted - Jan 19 2012 : 12:14:10 PM Oh that sounds like fun! I wish I still had my old toboggan; there are some hills around here that would be perfect.
A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee.... |

So my dad ties a canoe to the tractor to pull her and the other kids around. lol They think it's great fun. I can't wait for hay rack rides.
