All I ever see in our chat Room is a lot of creative talent. So I came here first for advice. I've just opened an Etsy store selling linen and cotton kitchen towels. I love the rustic linen I'm using as it dries dishes so easily, super absorbent and dries easily. These designs remind me of a farmhouse look and i love them in my kitchen. So naturally I assumed lots of people would like them.
The cotton towels are a results of an artist who is emulating the style of French and Italian painters who did botanical prints over a century ago. They're thick, wash great and can certainly be used to decorate if you can't bring yourself to dirty them. I figure as long as they don't go to a garage or barn, they'll survive anything a kitchen can throw at them.
So, where do I go to find customers? Who would appreciate this cloth? designs?
My store is:www.etsy.com/store/AntiqueMarie
I named it after my grandmother who I have to admit had a great deal of influence on me. I would appreciate your help

What's weird is that if I type in the link I gave above, it works. Using it in my post, doesn't work. Phew- no clue.
Anyway, there's been some traffic. Yeah!

Better to type in the shop name. The link still isn't working.

The link is working now. Banner disappeared for awhile????? Back on. More items are listed.
Thank you all for checking and letting me know. Also linked to Facebook.
I'll be doing more items. Lots of ideas, getting fabric ready. It's been fun to prepare.

The link doesn't work for me either. My suggestion is to share your link ( once you make sure it works) with all your family and friends and see if any of them are willing to make your first purchase and leave a review. I am a frequent Etsy shopper and I am always iffy on those who don't have any reviews. Reviews are a good selling point for me regardless of how many actual sales the shop has. Multiple 5 star reviews for only 20 sales sounds so much better than a couple 5 star reviews and mostly 1 star reviews but 100 sales. I agree with Grace on some different images. And just share your link everywhere! You're bound to cross someone who loves those towels as much as you. Good luck! You are off to a great start!

I got the error too but the I type in Antiquemarie and it took me right to it.

Are you planning to add more to your shop. Handmade items or?
You can add a banner at the top to draw people in. It just takes a lot of views to get your items pushed to the front pages. You'll get there! A lovely start.

OK, so I went direct to Etsy.. and typed in 'antiquemarie' and found you..
Just a thought,, maybe have a bowl with the towel draped over, like as if you were covering a bowl of rising dough or hang them ob a close line drying in the breeze with a green landscape[pe in the background..

But as is, not bad,,, just get the word out and viewers will pop in.
