What are your favorite types of crafts to do?

I agree Krista!
I'm glad to see so many women who still enjoy crafting.

I have a lot of favorites, but if I could only pick one then it would be crochet. Since I have done it for so many years now, many of the things I make, I can make while only half thinking lol. Which is what I need to do while I am dealing with kids! So for now simplicity is the best.

Grace, we are two peas in a pod! I love to sew, do papercraft, crochet, knit, cross stitch and embroidery. Lately I have been doing papercrafts but I have a quilt I want to get started on. I am a bit backwards. Most people make quilts in winter but I like to do them in the summer. I have more energy and more creative flow going then for some reason.

I love all types of crafts! I probably love sewing and quilting more than anything...but, I go through periods of stitching, painting, ceramics class, and many others. I love to knit...especially socks! Currently I am working on more needlepoint Christmas stockings for my large family. I hope to be finished with them by this Christmas!

My favorites are probably paper crafting, journalling, scrap booking, making scrappy book marks, crafting memory boxes, time capsules for all my nieces and nephews. I love to crochet in the fall and winter. I like to sew, but my ability to sew is minimal and my frustration with sewing is sky high!! So, I never last long with sewing venture, but I do try periodically. :-)

How does one choose? lol! I would say paper crafting. I've been doing it consistently for the longest amount of time and am most comfortable with it. But I do love to sew and do needle work as well. :)

How about you, Denise?

Sewing - I love making quilts and other fabric sewing - like my button scarves and kitchen items. This year I have also made 2 knit cowls (1 with attached scarf) and am working on another right now. The knitting is relaxing.

Knitting! It’s very relaxing even if there’s lots of counting going on in my head. I’m also working on learning how to paint with watercolors.
