Posted - Jun 25 2005 : 1:32:55 PM I am about to start a rag quilt, my problem is I have only seen pictures. Is it possible to explain the technique in this forum or should I get a book from the library, if so, any suggestions?
Thanks! |

Posted - Jun 28 2005 : 10:48:23 PM Hi Kathy,
I'm learning to quilt and my first one was a rag quilt because it is so easy. Now I'm totally addicted and can't get off doing those to learn how to do regular quilts. I just finished a baby quilt for a little girl that turned out so cute!
Here's a link that is really good to help you get started.

Hope this helps.

Posted - Jun 26 2005 : 7:17:37 PM Well I must say you have given me my "learn something new everyday"! This isn't a technique I was familiar with but it sort of reminds me of a very "modern" version of postage stamp. Thanks for the info , it looks like something I might try!
