The Simple Act of Using my hands:
I brought some Grace cotton yarn a few weeks ago.
And then this wee brought more.
Your can get 2 pairs of socks out of these.

I am Diabetic and have to wear socks even in the summertime
Needed soime that are comfortable and cooler; so I thought of
cotton yarn

I thought about kniting and crocheting ; and all the other forums of
needle arts I do.
How comforting to take up 4 double needles and work the same goes for crocheting or any of the other forms.

Watching the thread being worked up into what ever I am making at the moment.Thinking about how it comforts me every time I do needle work.

What one can achive with a piece of yarn or thread.
I find comfort in doing all kinds of needlework.

I can sat and work, and ponder about the prolems I am going through.

Or t loose myself in it because of the pain I suffer.

I have arthris everywhere, I am Diabetic and I have diverlticolious (sp) and fibormaylaiga. (s0)I suffer from deep depression and severee refluxe disease.

Several other condions too; so anyu form of reliefe I can do I do it.
I hope you all who love Needlework may it help you in your pain
and console you when you eed that
I am so thankfull to have the knowledege of these wonderful passtimes.

Beautifully expressed words that certainly have flowed through the minds and hearts of our women ancestors during happiness and heartache, too. Thanks for sharing what we all feel; the quiet thrill and contentment of seeing something spring to life in our hands. Nance
