I hear you! I've either been doing housework or paperwork/paying bills all afternoon....ugh. I'm in need of a break...or distraction.
I will have to look them up next time we are through Spokane. There's got to be something more exciting than Cabela's....haha!
I checked out Jordan's Fabrics....just when I said I wasn't going to buy anymore fabric.....haha...they have some beautiful things right now!

Those are fun! For some reason they remind me of back in the early 80s when folded star designs were popular. My friend and I made some wall hangings in a big wooden hoop.
The center of it also reminds me of an award ribbon rosette.
I have heard of the Quilting Bee...I had a quilt book one time with patterns from their store. Is it another fabulous place to shop?

Very cute! I think they look larger than 2" and 3" petals.

I have a Christmas Tree Wall hanging made with the Dresden Petals - it is a Fons and Porter pattern.

I have had the petals on the background and the squares on the border for about 4 years and just need to secure the petals down. LOL! I'll get it done one of these days.

Well bummer, I am not tech savvy enough to figure out how to post a pic from Instagram...
So here is a photo of the photo...
The name of the local, and quite awesome quilting store in Spokane is the QuiltingBee.
They offer all sorts of classes.

Is this cute or what?
Multiple layers of the DP petals.

Wellk Phooey! I thought I downloaded the photo,, but it only comes up as a black square.. and I can't copy the photo,, so it must be protected???

any way, it is a photo of 3 layers of the DP petals layered for a 3-d effect.. I will try again to post a photo, if I can't then I will try to make a sample of it,, fingers crossed.
The 1st/top layer is about 2" petals and the next layer is about 3" petals and the last, the last layer/bottom layer is about 3"...
