I had some time to kill between phone calls,,, so I puttered around with my embroidery machine..
I had ordered the Hedge Hog Pattern and then adding the words, '
Hedge Hog Hut'..
sew cute...
then I decided to play with another pattern,,, and Voila'
Today I promised to take one of my grand-girlies to lunch,, drive thru.. so I will have to wait until later today to test out 2 other patterns that I purchased..
Oh and BTW,, it snowed today, just for about 30min.. and melted quit fast.. a perfect day for playing in the sewing room! lol!

I made 3 machine embroidery designs and mailed them out (along with some others) yesterday... and,, yep! I forgot to take photos!!!

Grace U think adding the backing is a great idea! It would help the fob to last longer besides giving it more body.

I think I might use craft felt, and stabilizer to sew my design on my key fob,, and then after it's stitched, I might use iron on fusible webbing to layer a 2nd layer of felt (on the back side).. it will cover the underside(bobbin) stiches and give the fob a bit more stability..
Both Kathy-isewabernina & JeanP are more advanced in M.E.,,, they might have a better idea...

Grace, I would love to see your key fob. I Really haven’t heard of them until about 2 weeks ago. They are popping up in the repping world and I’m interested in them. I have seen a couple cute ones but haven’t made a commitment yet. It’s amazing to see all the things these machines can make.

Grace - I think all that wine got to your machine LOL that's why it had the hiccups LOL!!! Those are really cute. I never knew you could make earrings like that. I'll have to look into those kind of patterns.

Oh Winnie,, it really is quite simple.... as long as you don't 'over think it'' which I have a bad habit of doing! lolol!

Jean and Grace, you two have some amazing machines that do this embroidery! I bet once you figure out how to use it, the possibilities are endless. Complicated sewing machines scare me off!! LOL!!

Oh Krista,, I just saw a cute idea for a key fob made on a embroidery machine... of... a cute vtg trailer...going to have to try to make one of those too!

I forgot to mention,, these are FSL designs,, meaning they are stitched on a water soulible stabilizer , that after stitching,, you dip the work in water to dissolve the stabilizer... well I tried this first and my machine kept hiccuping so I decided to just stitch it on regular stabilizer and trim around it.. and honestly I am quite pleased with it.
I have used the water soulible stabilizer with larger 'lacy' type patterns and it works fine,, I suspect that because this is such a small pattern.. my machine had hiccups...

Both are really cute. I love hedgehogs and anything winter themed. I'm probably one of the few people who is sad about winter being over with!

Hey Winnie,, we had a lovely time.. I love how wonderful it feels to walk with a young child, and they reach out to hold your hand..
Jada is 12 and she still likes to hold hands with me.. My other grand girl is my hugger...
