Just curious what exactly were you stuck on? I learned how to do them when I was younger. So, I know anyone can get it!! : )

July is good...actually perfect. You know, we could call a farmgirl meeting in July in Williamsburg. Hmmm....rent a room at a hotel. There is some great outlet shopping there, Colonial Williamsburg etc!!

Or my girls and I will just meet you there for a day of crochet, coffee and play at a park!!

Sounds wonderful!!!

Eren,
When you get to Virginia, let me know and we can meet in Williamsburg at the Barnes and Noble and have a crochet/coffee session. I do Grannies and I can read most any crochet pattern. So if you are still having trouble when you move!! I'll come and help!

Hey Eren,

Just saw this link on the Purl Bee and thought of you. Tuck it away for when you want to bring that granny square project out again!

Laura,
you are a real gem,,,,you and the dear ladies both are blessed. You get to learn from them and they get much needed companionship.
Thanx for sharing with us a great idea.

Laura - what a WONDERFUL idea!!! I sure wish I had thought of that one when I was so stumped on french knots last year. I'm just *sure* there would be a woman around here at an assisted living center or care center who could've helped. Farmgirls-at-heart sure never outgrow their need for a visit, either!

XOXO, Libbie

Sorry gals, I have had to put the granny squares on hold. I will still need help, but hacky sacks are taking all of my time. Great idea though Laura~ I will have to remember that. What a wonderful way to connect with another generation.

Do you have an assisted living facility near you. We have one just a few blocks from where I live. I will go in and bring my project and ask some of the woman for help. The woman are always happy for the conversation and love to help out. I have met so many wonderful older women that way. I love to go in and chit chat with them and they now look forward to my visits. The lady who runs the facility is always happy to see me, some of these gals have outlived their families and they love the visits.

I can help if you need it but i will need to see the pattern and know what problems you are having with it.

Eren,
I could just drive down to the other corner of the state, but time doesn't permit at the moment. I'm no expert crocheter, but I can do granny squares! What do you need help with?

Jana
