Hi everyone,
I have a problem at my job, we have all this fabric waste.
It just kills me to throw it away, but don't quite know what to do with it.
We ordered 2500 yds of fabric and only have used the length, not the full width. So there is all this yardage of fabric from 10-25 inches wide.
The fabric is polyester panel fabric (100% recycled).
Could someone who weaves or braids rugs used it?
I'm open for suggestions.
Thanks for any ideas...

Karen,
Here is another possibility. Do you have county nursing homes where elderly who have very little money and who can't stay at home alone go for senior housing? If so, contact them. The ones around here are always looking for someone to cut long lengths for residents to sew together for table cloths, curtains, etc. Just to give them something meaningful to do. Budgets in these places leave almost nothing for beauty, so if the fabric is tolerable it may well be better than what they have. Just a thought!
